With her usual touch of genius, Hazel Collinson has created musicals that can be performed with a cast of anywhere between 10 – 50 actors.  There is a part for everyone in these shows.

Duration: 45-90 Minutes

The structure of SQP shows is flexible making it possible to leave out part of the songs and script to bring it down to less than an hour in total length without the audience loosing the overall plot or the music loosing it’s flow.

A Flexible Set Design

Any of the shows can be performed with the simplest of set or with all the gadgetry of a modern theatre.

The time-consuming rehearsals of singers and musicians is often what cost both theatres, theatre groups and schools the most rehearsal time, money and problems. Teaching the actors the songs can often take up most of the time meant for rehearsals, on top of which comes additional band calls and cost of hiring musicians. Professional Backing Tracks On CDs

You receive the songs recorded by professional artists. The actors simply take home a CD and learn their songs by ear in their own time, freeing up valuable rehearsal time.

You also receive all of the orchestral backing tracks on a CD. These are the original professional backing tracks,

making your show sound fantastic.
 

In the amateur version none of the solo songs goes higher than a d natural, making it easy to sing for singers of all abilities.

A small choir of voices are needed.  This can be the cast singing on stage, a choir off-stage supporting the main cast – or both.
The musical interaction between the soloists and the choir makes your performance sound both ‘live’ and ‘alive’!
