A Midsummer Night’s Dream June 2005 Kenny is preparing the music for this classic Shakespeare play due to open at the Paul Robeson Theatre in West London end of May 2006. It is a modern interpretation sure to please the audience. The creatures of the fairy kingdom are not the sweet Disney characters we have grown accustomed to, but naughty fairies with attitude (think ‘Chicago The Musical’) more in line with Shakespeare’s original burlesque comedy. As such the music is a mix of traditional orchestral scoring mixed with Rock and oriental influences.
